My name is Ditta Foldesi-Szalkai. I am a mural artist, illustrator, designer and maker based in Swansea UK.

As an artist, my inspiration ranges widely from comic to fine art. My journey started in Hungary, having studied Arts for many years I developed realistic painting and drawing skills, which lead me to work for a theatre company as a scene painter. This experience grew in me a passion and talent for working on a larger scale.

In the UK I worked as an illustrator and a mural artist whilst completing a BA (Hons) in Surface Pattern Design, specialising in Textiles for Interiors at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Swansea.

Since graduating I've expanded my portfolio as a freelancer as well as a collaborator with a major retail design company. My working method consists of using both traditional and digital approaches.

I develop my work by hand drawing or painting and conclude using digital technologies to manipulate and complement my designs. This process has allowed me to perfect my skills in the digital art world.
